Products & Compatibility

Which vans do your roof racks fit?

We make racks for Volkswagen Crafter (2018+), MAN TGE, Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, Ford Transit Custom, Volkswagen Transporter T5/T6, Volkswagen Transporter T7, and the Sevel platform — Citroen Relay, Peugeot Boxer, and Fiat Ducato. We also produce a wheel-delete for the Land Rover Defender.

What’s the difference between the Core rack and the PRO rack?

The Core rack is our original slimline roof rack for the VW Crafter — modular and very low-profile. The PRO has a larger more aggressive front fairing for lightbar and spotlight integration, slightly longer and higher overall, refined fitment and geometry, and can fit an awning without separate awning brackets.

Can I fit a rooftop tent to the rack?

Yes.

I want to fit solar panels, vents, or fans — what works?

Either check out vankit.io or drop us an email and we’ll help you configure your layout.

Do you sell apparel?

Not yet but it’s coming!

Materials & Build Quality

What are your racks made from?

We use only 5083 marine-grade aluminium and/or stainless steel, depending on the component and strength requirements. All fixings are marine grade stainless steel.

Where are they manufactured?

Designed in-house in the UK using 3D scanners and CAD. All manufacturing is outsourced to local partners — every part is made within five miles of our design unit.

What’s your return rate?

0.18%.

Fitment & Installation

How long does fitment take?

Usually 1–2 hours with a pair of hands.

Do I need any specialist tools?

No — just a set of spanners, allen keys, and a ladder.

Do I need to access the interior of my van to fit the rack?

For some vehicles you do. For instance, the Mercedes Sprinter requires roof rails to be fitted prior to install. All Crafter racks can be fitted via rivnuts, but inside access with a nut and bolt is advised. The Ducato/Relay/Boxer and Transits require no access to the inside of the vehicle.

Do you provide fitting instructions?

Yes — every product ships with a QR code that links to the instructions.

Shipping & Stock

How long is delivery?

You’ll typically have your rack within one week.

Where do you ship to?

UK and EU. From 2026 we’ll ship from a separate Australian operation at yakkt.com.au.

Can I collect from your premises?

Yes — select collection at checkout and we’ll get in touch to arrange a time.

Are your items in stock?

Stock status is shown on each product page. Most racks ship within 5 working days.

Warranty & Returns

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes — we offer a lifetime structural guarantee on all of our exterior products. No questions asked.

What is the warranty?

We are proud to offer a lifetime warranty on the structure of all of our exterior products. This warranty extends to defects in material and craftsmanship which lead to a product impaired in its initial use or intention, provided the conditions of normal and proper use are adhered to. The warranty covers the repair or replacement of the product at our discretion, contingent upon receiving the product for inspection. Please note that the warranty does not cover shipping charges, labour costs, installation costs, incidental or consequential damages, or any costs incurred due to vehicle downtime. The warranty excludes defects caused by improper installation, unauthorised alterations, any misuse, neglect, accidents, corrosion, or normal wear and tear.

What is the powder coat warranty?

We offer a one year warranty on all powder-coating. This warranty covers any defects in material and craftsmanship. It does not cover usual wear and tear. Although our products are manufactured from corrosion-resistant aluminium and stainless steel, you must take care of your products and wash them regularly — especially in the UK and EU where road salt is commonly present. We do not cover shipping charges, labour, or installation when claiming for warranty. It is the buyer’s responsibility to return the item to us for repair or replacement free of charge if necessary.

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14-day returns policy on all of our items. Simply return the products to us and we’ll refund you, no questions asked. Read more about our returns and refund policy.

Do you still take on build commissions?
