Which Sprinter roof rack do I need?

• 906: the previous-shape Sprinter
• 907: the current Sprinter

Both use the same rack, so all you need to match is the wheelbase: MWB or LWB. Earlier Sprinters (the pre-906 T1N) aren’t covered. If you’re not sure what you’ve got, send us your reg and we’ll confirm.

Roof rails: what you need to know
The Sprinter rack mounts to OEM or aftermarket roof rails. Rails aren’t included, so if your van doesn’t already have them, you’ll need a set fitted first. Once the rails are on, the rack bolts to them with the supplied stainless fixings.

Roof rack or roof bars?
Roof bars are separate bars across the rails: fine for a ladder, but nothing to stand on or mount kit to. A YAKKT rack is a full platform with 3 (MWB) or 4 (LWB) cross bars built in, and it takes deck panels, solar brackets, a Starlink Mini mount or a roof tent. Everything can be moved or added later.

The Sprinter side ladder is built to integrate with the YAKKT rack. It gives you roof access from the side, leaving the rear doors free for a bike rack or gear carrier.
