Awesome Product! Whilst I was planning the conversion of my van I came across Yakkt on social media. As soon as I started to look at the products I knew I was going to invest, especially when you look at the quality, style and adaptability of the system as a whole. I was going to ‘start’ with the rack and solar mounts, and then add more items as time went on. Unfortunately, I got too excited and ended up going all in from the start. I’d definitely recommend the product and working with Yakkt and Jamie was a pleasure; great service and great support on the product.

When I was looking for a roof rack for my VW Crafter I was awash with options. Many were made from heavy steel, or were bulky and stood too high from the roof for my liking. Then we stumbled across Yakkt.

The Yakkt roof rack is aluminium and a lot lighter than its competitors thanks to its modular design. As standard it has 2 or 3 crossbars (depending on MWB or LWB), and a front and rear fairing. If required additional crossbars can be purchased. One of the standout features of the rack for me was the dual tracks on the crossbars which meant that you could mount multiple things to the same crossbar (for example a deck on one side and a solar panel on the other - which is what we intend to do).

There are also an ever growing suite of accessories - Deck panels with Molle plate style patten for fixing items to your roof (or can just provide a firm foothold for whilst up there, Awning mounts, and Solar Panel brackets which sit the panel flush with the crossbars.

The quality of kit we have had from Yakkt has been second to none and Jamie has been a pleasure to deal with. If you are in the market for an adaptable, high quality, and light weight roof rack, look no further than Yakkt!

I recently dealt with Jamie, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. I ordered a quilted cab divider and was really impressed by the quality of the product—it’s well-made, durable, and fits perfectly. Communication throughout the process was excellent; Jamie was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions I had. Highly recommend this company for anyone looking for quality campervan accessories and top-notch customer service!

Jamie’s supplied me with some furniture for my campervan build. I can’t recommend him and Yakkt enough.

Jamie is such a nice guy. He’s helpful, knowledgable, highly skilled and really responsive and easy to deal with.

The quality of the work is so high. I got some storage and a kitchen. It’s beautiful. When people look at the van it’s their main call out for looking great and being high quality.

Their new work is stunning, well designed, good value and pushing the boundaries in the market which will only improve the offerings from competitors too.

Who needs hotels, when I’ve got my gentleman’s club on wheels!

I met Jamie on his stand at the overland camper show.
I have a Man TGE (Wee Man) and was looking around for some inspiration for my build. He’s super friendly and was good enough to spend time showing me the vans he had at the show and discuss my build ideas (even though he had people queuing up to check out his builds).

I did plan to try and do the van build myself, but having seen what could be achieved by a craftsman like Jamie, I went ahead and booked an upcoming spot he had.

It was a pleasure working with him from start to finish and now we have our dream van. His use of the space is really clever and the fit and quality of materials is second to none. I expected to have a load of creaking and knocking on the drive back from the lakes to west mids, but not at all, absolutely rock solid fit. I’m really glad I made that trip to the show and that I met Jamie.

We’ve done a couple of trips and the van is so comfortable, with modern styling and the electrics set up is really clean and so simple to use. We’re looking forward to getting away for some big future adventures.

Thanks Jamie and I’m really glad to see your business going from strength to strength. Hopefully get up to check out your new workshop, when we do Scotland or the lakes.

Jamie is a legend and runs a superb business building beautiful, bespoke campervans. The fit and finish of the vans we saw, and Jamie's attention to detail are second to none. We first met Jamie when we purchased a quilted cab divider from him whilst on a trip to a Scotland; he was even kind enough to help us install the quilt when we arrived at his workshop. The quilt divider itself is a game changer and is super high quality! It keeps the cab cool with the aircon on, or warm with the heating on and makes a huge difference to the sound quality in the cab, cutting road noise dramatically. The other big advantage is keeping the living area warm/cool when parked up given the cab area sees the biggest heat ingress and losses due to the sheer amount of glass. We also love the fact that we can park up anywhere and be quite stealthy given the quilt resembles a van bulkhead from the outside. So, go buy a cab quilt as soon as you can, and if you get a chance, go meet Jamie. He's a lovely bloke and is now helping us with our van conversion by building us some beautiful cabinets! Cheers!
